  • The Anointing: "The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me...".

  • The Mission: To preach good news, bind up the brokenhearted, and proclaim freedom for captives.

  • The Promise: To bestow "beauty for ashes," the "oil of joy for mourning," and a "garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness".

  • The Outcome: The beneficiaries are called "oaks of righteousness," planted by the Lord.
