Why We Do It...
I opened the Life Restoration Center because I know what it feels like to be completely broken and searching for hope. For years, I lived without knowing my true identity in Christ. I carried the pain of sexual abuse, walked through a broken marriage, and face other trials. I turned to unhealthy addictions just trying to numb the hurt and pain inside of me. I was lost, empty, and fighting battles I didn’t know how to win. But everything changed when I encountered Jesus and gave my life to Him on May 9, 2004. That was the beginning of my restoration, but the journey has been far from easy. I faced spiritual battles as the enemy continued trying to destroy my family, my purpose, and my faith. One being in March of 2019, when our home was hit by a tornado. We were in the middle of adopting three amazing children who were already part of our family. As well as trying to help a teenaged foster son find stability. (That in it's self a battle.) In an instant, everything we knew was shaken, and we were at risk of losing our home, and the children we loved so deeply. But God showed up through the Shiawassee community in ways I will never forget. In just 73 days, they fully restored our home—but more than that, they helped restore our family and lives. Through every piece of pain, loss, trauma, and struggle, that I've walked through or help others walk through God gave me a vision: to take everything the enemy meant to destroy and use it as a weapon to help set others free. The Life Restoration Center was born out of that vision. It is a place for the broken, the lost, the hurting, and the hopeless to encounter the love of Christ, discover who they truly are, and find restoration, healing, and freedom.
I am asking others to join me who have been fully restored in Christ to help set as many of the captives free as we can! If that's you please share your testimony because the enemy will try everything he can to silence you! We cannot let the enemy win!
